Seniors Group

Parishioners who are 50 or over are encouraged to sign up to receive information pertinent to seniors & take part in activities of interest to the group. These are planned at the request of parishioners and with their involvement in planning the specific activity. Docent Lead Tour of the David H. Koch Hall of Human Origins in the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Natural History

 
This permanent NMNH exhibit  presents the six million year evolutionary story of our species in addressing  the question “What does it mean to be human?”  The tour will be led by Holy Trinity Parishioner  Jurate Landwehr who has been a resource docent for the Hall since its opening in 2010.  This event with take place on on Friday, May 13 at 10:30 AM. The group will meet at the Constitution Avenue entrance. Due to crowds at the scanners, please arrive no later than 10:15. Admission to the museum is free.  After the tour, there will be an opportunity for lunch together in the museum cafeteria or shopping in one of four gift stores in the museum.  Tour will be capped at 20 persons.  Please contact Cathy Quinn cathyquinn2014@gmail.com  to make reservation.
