World Day of Migrants & Refugees

World Day of Migrants & Refugees will be celebrated September 29. Pope Francis has chosen the theme “It is not just about migrants” to show up our blind spots and make sure no one remains excluded from society, whether a longtime resident or someone newly-arrived. Learn more about our Maria Madre sister parish and our Migrant Team on Welcome Sunday, September 29. Ronnate Asirwatham, Pastoral Associate for Social Justice, and members of both groups will be in McKenna Hall following the 9am and 11am Masses.

Jesuit leaders of the USA and Canada are calling on the whole Ignatian family to contact their legislators in support of comprehensive, compassionate immigration reform and policies that welcome, protect and integrate those who seek asylum. To read the Jesuit leaders’ statement, learn more about the issues and contact your legislators, visit jesuits.org/migration
