Holy Trinity Homebound Communion Ministry
Do you wonder who those people are that gather with the priest after Communion to receive a blessing before returning to the congregation? They are Homebound Communion Ministers who bring the Eucharist, liturgical readings, and companionship to those parishioners who have long-term challenges that prevent them from coming to Mass. In addition to celebrating the Eucharist, the ministers spend time with the homebound to ensure they continue to feel part of our parish community.
We are in urgent need of additional ministers. A number of new people have contacted requested visits, and some of our current ministers have recently become unavailable.
If you would like to volunteer as a minister or want additional information, please contact Richard Shullaw at 703-980-9884 or e-mail him at shullawr@gmail.com. Thank you!
