All are invited to join fellow Holy Trinity parishioners and staff on Saturday, January 24th from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. in Trinity Hall for an in-person parish listening gathering on Women in Ministry in the Church. The gathering will be an opportunity to listen to one another on this important topic in a facilitated process. This is timely in light of the December 4th publication of a letter from the Vatican Commission on the Women’s Diaconate containing its initial report commissioned by Pope Francis and recently received by Pope Leo. The letter was issued only in Italian, but a translation option should be easily available in most internet browsers. The publication of the letter has also been covered by Catholic News Service with more extensive context recently provided by America Magazine. All are welcome!
