Saturday, June 13 | 4:00 PM, Church
While Holy Trinity Parish dates back to the late 1700s, our main Church building was constructed in 1851. Holy Trinity will celebrate the 175th Anniversary Mass of our church building at a special Anniversary Mass at 4PM on Saturday, June 13.
The Mass will conclude with a festive procession from the church to Georgetown Visitation that will start our annual parish picnic. (N.B. There will be no 5:30 PM Mass that evening.)
The celebration will include the premiere of a newly commissioned musical work by Tim Keyes, featuring the refrain: “How lovely is your dwelling, Lord, where thirsting hearts awake to grace; from living waters we are raised, one people, born to show your face.”
We give thanks for 175 years in this sacred building, remembering the thousands of disciples baptized in living water and sent forth as missionaries of the Gospel.
