Ways to Support Our Mission

Parish Pledge

The parish pledge is a giving intention that supports not only our own parishioners, but also our greater DC community and beyond through our Social Justice tithe. View a list of 2024 Parish Pledge donors here.

Offertory

Your offering is an act of stewardship for God's blessings that directly makes possible the mission of Jesus Christ here at Holy Trinity. That mission, which blesses thousands of people each week, is expressed through our liturgy, sacraments, and ministries of formation and service.

Social Justice

The Social Justice Ministry and its various teams and programs work across multiple channels to build a more just world that upholds dignity, equality and access to social and economic opportunity for all.

Ignatian Spirituality

Throughout the year, the Ignatian Spirituality Ministry provides numerous ways to pray and build community through retreats, faith sharing groups, meditations and guided prayer.

Faith Formation

Holy Trinity offers one of the largest Religious Education (RE) and Adult Faith Formation programs in the DC area, serving over 6,000 registered households from DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland.

Holy Trinity School

Founded in 1818, Holy Trinity School (HTS) is one of the few coeducational elementary schools in the Jesuit tradition in the United States. HTS welcomes all to the Jesuit Catholic traditions of educational excellence, the service of faith, and the promotion of justice.

Young Adult Community

Holy Trinity’s Young Adult Community (or “YACs”) is a dynamic group of individuals - young adults in their 20s and 30s, both single and married, who seek to be transformed by the Holy Spirit by celebrating the Eucharist and practicing Ignatian Spirituality together.

Gift Naming Opportunities

Holy Trinity Church and School have several options for donors to offer a named gift for themselves or a loved one.

Mass Card

Mass intention card may be requested and is given to the family as an indication of understanding, faith and compassion. These are special intentions offered to God as prayers of intercession and Thanksgiving in and through the Eucharist.

Holiday

The joy of the holiday seasons are special times to share our blessings with others. Funds raised during our holiday giving campaigns (the Christmas Fund, the Easter Fund and the Thanksgiving/Giving Tuesday Fund) are used 100% in support of all our parish ministries.

Legacy/Planned/Estate Giving

Including a gift in your will to Holy Trinity Church is a powerful act of stewardship that uplifts our spiritual community, and extends the legacy of your faith and values, for generations to come. If you do not have an up-to-date plan in place, you can create your legal will for free using this trusted resource from our partners at FreeWill, and establish your legacy with Holy Trinity Church at the same time.
