Concerts at Holy Trinity is excited to welcome the National Chamber Orchestra to present a concert on Saturday October 3rd at 7:30pm, featuring Vivaldi’s ‘Four Seasons’ under the direction of Julien Benichou with internationally acclaimed violin soloist Joshua Brown. This concert, on the eve of the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, is an opportunity to celebrate the beauty of creation with a musical masterpiece inspired by the endless diversity of nature.
Violinist Joshua Brown has been praised by audiences and critics worldwide for his “richness of sound, elegance of reading…commitment of every moment at the service of the work…” (La Libre). Recipient of a 2025 Avery Fisher Career Grant, Joshua gained international attention after winning the 2nd Prize and both Audience Awards at the 2024 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. Joshua Brown will be performing on the “Lord Newlands” Stradivarius via long-term loan from the Sasakawa Music Foundation in Japan.
Preferred seating for this concert will be ticketed in order to support the costs of the artists. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here. General seating will also be available and a voluntary offering will be accepted to defray the general operational costs of the concert series for the church.
A reception will follow the concert.
