Saints
All are invited to be part of our annual Communion of Saints celebration on Saturday, October 26, 2019. We will hold a special Saturday RE class, beginning at 4 p.m., followed by the 5:30 Vigil Mass and a family pizza dinner.
Here is the schedule for the day:
4 p.m. RE Classes Begins
Students will report to classrooms as usual. Children in grades K-3 will prepare for parade. Parents are welcome to help their child get into costume and then go to the assigned area for parade-viewing. We assign areas so that each part of the block has spectators so that the saints marching around the block have continuous motivation.
Circle of Grace Presentation in Trinity Hall
Parents of children in 7th and 8th grade are invited to attend a presentation in Trinity Hall by Dr. Roly Diaz, who will address the concepts in the Circle of Grace safe-environment program. This program helps children understand the sacredness of who they are and helps them identify respectful and appropriate boundaries.
4:15 p.m. Parade begins (time approximate)
Please do not stand on or block the church or chapel steps.
Children return to classroom for remainder of the lesson.
5:15 p.m. Classes Dismiss
5:30 p.m. Vigil Mass
All are encouraged to attend Mass in the church or Trinity Hall.
6:30 p.m. Family Celebration Dinner
Join us for a casual dinner in McKenna Hall and the Upper School Cafeteria.
Sunday, October 27 will be an RE holiday.
