During the holiday season, many of us look forward to gatherings and traditions. However, for those who have lost a loved one, this time of year can bring feelings of grief and longing. The “empty chair” at the table serves as a poignant reminder of their absence.
Our bereavement ministry is here to help you through this time. Our faith reminds us of hope, healing, and the promise of eternal life. May you find peace in the memories of the deceased and strength in the love that surrounds you.
On Saturday, January 11 you are invited to join us at 10:00 a.m. in McKenna Hall for a grief support group “Navigating grief during the New Year.”
We will also begin a six consecutive week grief support group on Saturday, February 1 through March 8.
These sessions will provide a safe and confidential place for sharing struggles with grief. It will provide patterns in the grieving experience and ideas for coping.
Should you be unable to attend these dates but are interested in participating at a different time or perhaps on zoom, please let us know.
For more information and/or to register, please email bereavementministry@trinity.org or call 202-903-2808. Thank you.
