Ignatian Spirituality
As a Jesuit-sponsored parish, Holy Trinity invites individuals from the Washington Metro area as well as from around the country to explore, encounter, and engage in the 450-year old tradition that is Ignatian Spirituality. Throughout the year, we offer online and in person programs designed to help individuals grow in their relationship with God and deepen their freedom to love.

Our retreats in daily life, faith sharing groups, Ignatian formation programs, and guided prayer opportunities support individuals as they discern God’s invitations to go into our world and serve the ones most in need. Your support of the Ignatian Spirituality and Prayer Ministry allows the parish to provide training and supervision to individuals who have discerned a call to the ministry of spiritual direction. Some of these individuals are then further trained to give the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola.
