High school youth (rising 10th graders – recent graduates) are invited to participate in a summer service week at Bethlehem Farm in Alderson, WV. The pillars of their ministry are prayer, simplicity, service, and community. To participate, the following are required (with the exception of the fee):
- Be available for the entire trip (Sunday, Aug 2, leaving around 10am from Holy Trinity – Saturday, Aug 8, returning around 4pm to Holy Trinity).
- Pay a registration fee of $500. This covers a little less than 2/3 of the total cost. If you are able to donate an additional amount, it is greatly appreciated. If you need financial assistance, please ask! Cost should not be a factor in deciding whether or not you attend. Payment can be made online. Please include the memo: “Bethlehem Farm HS Youth 2026” and a note if adding a donation amount.
- Live more simply during the week, such as going without cell phones, eating more simple meals, composting, and more.
- Be open to meeting new people through work, meals, and prayer.
