About

On August 13, 2019, America Magazine published an article by PPC member and parishioner Kathleen Coogan in which she describes the Season of Discernment undertaken by Holy Trinity over the past year.

The Parish Open Forum for Action continues. The 100+ parishioners who came together November 4, 2018 and discussed responses to the sexual abuse crisis in the Catholic Church proposed a number of practical actions in the five areas of concern: transparency and accountability, Church structure, the role of the laity, support to survivors and families, and prayer.

The parishioners who agreed to take the lead on these actions are meeting together and with Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) representatives to de-conflict ideas for actions, to educate ourselves on similar work that is already ongoing in other organizations and to (potentially) team up with other parishes on some of the actions. The quickest way to add ideas, ask questions or join one of the action groups is to reach out to any one of the PPC representatives. Our special topic email addresses are open as well:
