Education

“Today our prime educational objective must be to form men-and-women-for-others; men and women who will live not for themselves but for God and his Christ.”
–Pedro Arrupe, SJ

Education involves learning about social injustices happening in our world as well as discerning God's spirit and the Greater Good (magis) through prayer and reflection. The focus of the social justice’s education efforts is to assist parishioners in their journey to become men and women in Christ for others. Throughout the year, the social justice ministry offers programs intended to educate parishioners about Catholic social teaching, the role social justice plays in our faith, and various issues that are priorities either for the Conference of Catholic Bishops or the Jesuit Conference.
