Free Concert This Friday: NSO Summer Music Institute At Holy Trinity

Students from the National Symphony Orchestra’s Summer Music Institute will perform a program of chamber music at a free concert this Friday at Holy Trinity.

This year marks the 31st anniversary of the program, which features musicians age 15–20 from 19 states and 4 countries.

Holy Trinity is excited to host this concert, our first collaboration with the NSO.

  • Limited free parking will be reserved for concert attendees at neighboring Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School (1524 35th St NW, Washington, DC 20007), a one block walk from the church. Non-metered street parking is also available.

 

Kennedy Center/National Symphony Orchestra National Trustees Summer Music Institute consists of orchestral and chamber music coached by NSO and Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra musicians; conducting and master classes; private lessons with NSO and KCOHO musicians; a side-by-side rehearsal with the NSO; and enrichment sessions concentrating on music literature, health and wellness, entrepreneurship, and Citizen Artistry.
