Founder's Day Weekend (October 5 & 6, 2019) is an opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate 225 years as parishioners for others.
Saturday, October 5
James Martin, S.J. presents "Showing Respect and Welcome to LGBT people in the Church"

The Rev. James Martin, S.J., is a Jesuit priest, author and editor at large at America, the national Catholic magazine. His most recent books are "Building a Bridge" "Seven Last Words," and "Jesus: A Pilgrimage." (HarperOne) and "In All Seasons, For All Reasons" (Liturgical Press). In 2017, he was appointed by Pope Francis as a consultor to the Vatican's Dicastery for Communication.
Premiere of "Mystery on Holy Hill"

"Mystery on Holy Hill" tells the story of a pair of students at Holy Trinity School who encounter spirits from the past on All Souls Day. They meet individuals from the parish who tell its story of founding from a Georgetown hamlet to a bustling federal city of Washington, DC. The plot recounts the years colonial beginnings, to the tumultuous years of the Civil War, to the impacts caused by the waves of immigrants from Europe. What forces have allowed this parish to thrive over the last 225 years?
