How Can We Pray For You?
Youth, do you have a prayer request? The Holy Trinity community would love to bring your intentions to God during parish Masses and prayer services. Anonymously submit your prayer requests on our virtual prayer wall.
Weekly Challenge: 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time (October 25)
Do one thing each day that will increase your love of God, your love for yourself, and your love of your neighbors.
High School Virtual Youth Group
All high school students are invited to join us for our virtual youth groups! A space for fun and community, learning and discussion, prayer and reflection. If you are interested in receiving the Zoom link on a weekly basis, please RSVP. Sundays @ 7:00pm.
Peer Ministry Leadership Team
High school students are invited to join the Peer Ministry Leadership Team! This is an opportunity to grow in deeper spirituality and leadership, build community with one another, share your ideas for youth ministry, and help guide the program in the parish. Involvement with the Peer Ministry Leadership Team requires meeting once per month via Zoom. If you are interested in being on the team this year, sign up! Our first meeting will be on November 1.
Solidarity Across Borders
Writing a letter to a detainee is a great way to show compassion and solidarity to those enduring the lonely experience of immigration detention. It may seem small, but a kind word from a stranger can really lift an immigrant’s spirit and help him/her persevere. If you are interested in learning more about how you can write a letter, email Rebecca.
Contemplating Justice: A Prayerful Response to Racial Injustice
As our parish moves forward in discerning our response to racism and white supremacy, all are invited to a new prayer series this fall. Drawing on our Ignatian tradition of the Examen, contemplation, and meditation, we will be guided in prayer by Catherine Heinhold and me (Rebecca Hoesterey). Following the prayer, there will be time for reflection and sharing. Our final gathering for the fall will be held on Zoom at 7:00pm on November 16. Join the Zoom. Youth are especially welcome!
Journey with Ignatius: A Virtual Pilgrimage with a Community of Prayer
The Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies at Boston College is offering a virtual pilgrimage app (for iOS only). The app follows the locations and themes of St. Ignatius's life, from Arevalo to Rome. It has weekly/daily videos, readings, and other spiritual content, along with a social forum where people can pray for one another and connect through small groups for faith sharing. Join the journey from October 11-January 1!
