The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius:

The Spiritual Exercises are offered at Holy Trinity in the 19th Annotation format (in daily life) throughout the year. This journey can be incorporated into one’s daily routine over an 8- 9-month period. Individually Directed Online Retreats in Daily Life:

Speak the Truth in Love RetreatSeptember 22-28, 2024 and October 20-26, 2024
As disciples of Jesus we have a mandate to love one another. How do we live as loving disciples in the midst of so much vitriolic rhetoric in our political discourse? How do we respond to the November 5 election if our candidate wins or loses? This retreat engages those questions and invites us to grow in the likeness of Christ.

Emmanuel Retreat – December 8-14, 2024
An individually directed online Ignatian retreat, made at home, for individuals who are seeking more familiarity with the practice of engaging with Scripture while using one’s imagination in prayer. Advent themes are interwoven into the retreat.

Abiding in God’s Love Retreat – January 26 – February 1, 2025
A one-week-long individually directed online retreat made at home for individuals who want to be introduced to praying in the tradition of St. Ignatius Loyola, that is, engaging the intellect, feelings, and the imagination.

Lenten Retreat – March 2 – April 12, 2025
A six week long individually directed online Ignatian retreat made at home for individuals who are able to make a longer commitment to prayer and want to ‘taste’ the dynamics of the Spiritual Exercises in the 19th Annotation format. The retreat is appropriate for those who have made an Ignatian retreat previously or the full Spiritual Exercises.

Ignatian Retreats Facilitated Online in a Group:

Setting Captives Free: Racism and God’s Liberating Grace – Tentatively weeks of March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and April 6, 2025
An Ignatian retreat made in a small group, online and at home. The Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius Loyola provide the framework for retreatants who seek to uncover their complicity with racial injustice, help them grow in interior freedom and with God’s grace open them to transformation. Retreatants are asked to commit to 30 minutes of prayer for five weeks and meet in small groups for six weeks.

A Young Adult Retreat:

YAC Retreat
A weekend retreat in Maryland for young adults in their 20s and 30s. Retreatants have an opportunity to make new friends, attend Mass, and reflect individually and in small groups about their faith. The next YAC retreat will be held April 26 (optional 27), 2025 at Mar-Lu-Ridge.

An LGBTQIA+ Retreat:

Being Seen, Being Heard, Being Accepted – February 15, 2025
A day-long in-person Ignatian Retreat for our LGBTQIA+ Community, held at the parish center.
