Poverty & Homelessness

Washington DC, has one of the largest homeless populations in the nation. 16.6 % of residents in DC live in poverty; Homelessness in DC is 2x the national average.

  • Georgetown Saturday & Sunday Suppers. Volunteer for the weekend Georgetown Suppers. Started in 2013 by parishioners, and led by Mike Conway, a group of volunteers serve an average of 100 homeless men and women each weekend.   • SOME. Holy Trinity has partnered with SOME for more than 40 years. At this time, we are providing breakfast kits and snack bags each month.
